About 2014 Toyota Avalon Hybrid
The 2014 Avalon features a proven 3.5-liter V6 engine coupled with a six-speed automatic transaxle, which offers responsive and efficient performance. The all-aluminum six-cylinder engine produces 268 horsepower and 248 lb.-ft. of torque, which will propel the new sedan to 60 mph in under 7 seconds. This powertrain's programming is updated to offer ECO, NORMAL, and SPORT Modes.
New for 2014, Toyota's backup monitor is now standard on all grades. The backup monitor with Dynamic Guide Lines is standard on Limited and Hybrid grades. The ambient lighting in the dash area is standard on Limited and Hybrid.
New for the Headlamp auto/off: When the switch is headlamp position, the lights cut off 20 minutes after driver closes door; when switch is in taillamp position, light cuts off immediately after the driver's door opens.
Also for the new model year the 2014 Avalon offers one new color: Parisian Midnight Blue, which replaces Nautical Blue and wheels on the Avalon Touring grade receive a Gunmetal paint finish.
